1911 Mammoth Ivory Grips (24C)

Description

A very nice pair of grips with light elephant ivory color and really nice grain or figure, this pristine color and condition is rare after thousands of years of burial. The glare on the tops is from the lights showing the great polish on these grips.  The panel on the left has an ancient hairline crack that was in the tusk, it does not show except on the backside and the edge if turned, it is stabilized and is guaranteed to remain as is.  Screws shown are Swirl and can be ordered, this pair are not available in the magwell butt cut.

Made from genuine woolly mammoth/mastodon ivory from Alaska and the Yukon (all legal to ship world wide with the exceptions of New York and New Jersey). This ivory is at least 10,000 years old and we use only the best quality to insure that they are as tough as modern elephant ivory but, with the magic that only extinct prehistoric furry elephant ivory has.

Non-structural fractures, fissures, watermarks and varying coloration are typical of mammoth ivory, just a part of their natural beauty and uniqueness.  Our ivory grips have been stabilized and are guaranteed against breakage for life!
