We make genuine ivory grips and we offer these bonded ivory grips simply because they are the best simulated ivory grips on the market, even though they are not the most expensive. They have the right weight, color and feel, they can also be carved or scrimshawed just like real ivory. You will be pleased with the quality of these grips! When installing revolver grips, do not over-tighten the screw, just snug it down. S.A.A. grips are oversize and will need to be fitted. Trace around the frame with a fine tip pencil, then file and sand down to the line, finish sand with 400 grit paper and buff to a high luster just like real ivory. For a $25.00 fitting fee, you can also send us your grips and/or grip frame and we'll fit and ship them back within two business days. ANTIQUING: If you have an older gun, you may prefer the old ivory look. We can age the smooth grips (not the checkered) for a rich but subtle antique look for $20.00 more. Antiquing would need to be done only after fitting is completed (for S.A.A. grips).
