Warthogs are common throughout many parts of Africa. These tusks are measured around the curve and can be solid or can have a deep hollow. Consider this and give us your requirements. A true ivory (dentine) with no enamel. Sizes/prices are approximate, as these are sold by weight. Some tusks with identical dimensions are more solid or have less taper so weigh/cost a bit more. 5.50 - $65.00 (please inquire).

Clean and nicely curved these are great for scrimshaw, letter openers or jewelry (they are measured around the outside curve).
(AA) Teeth Approx. 2-1/2" - 3" long, these are select ivory teeth (no enamel) and look somewhat like bear or lion fangs. These are polished on one side for scrimshaw and are - $6.00 ea. (A) Tusks Approx. 3/4" diam. x 3-1/2" up to 4" pendant size - $5.00 ea. (B) Tusks Approx. 3/4" diam x over 4" to 4-1/2" long - $7.00 ea. (C) Tusks Approx. 1" diam. x over 4-1/2" long x 5-1/2" long - $9.00 ea. (D) Tusks Approx. 1" diam. x over 5-1/2" - 6" long - $10.00 ea. |
