Full size 1911 grips with a bobtail 1 butt cut, choose these if your 1911 has a bobtail frame and the grips look like these with a beveled bob tail, (not rounded, that is a bobtail 2).
AMERICAN IVORY TM is a new lab created material we are working with that is unlike and superior to any other simulated, imitation or faux ivory because it has varying vertical grain AND end grain that looks just like elephant ivory. Every set is unique and takes a very high polish just like elephant ivory. It is an evolved technology product of the 21st century and is to the new millennium what "French Ivory" was to the 19th century. It is more expensive because of the manufacturing process but if you want the very best elephant ivory look this is it. Here is a customers report, we have heard this repeatedly: "The simulated ivory grips were good but the most impressive item is the American ivory grips! I have never seen anything so close in appearance to real ivory. They are spectacular and I cannot imagine anything so close, in fact they look better than some ivory grips I have seen!"
These grips will vary in the grain pattern and fit full sized frames such as Colt, Springfield, Taurus, Smith and Wesson, Les Baer, Ruger, Wilson, Kimber full size, pro-custom or ultra-plus and Others.
