Description

1911 Sea Cow bone pistol grips available with magwell, standard or bobtail cut.  Slightly on the thicker side and due to the natural texture of the bone, there will be some very small indentations on the grips.

Handmade from Extinct Steller's Sea Cow Bone that was excavated from ancient Yupik Eskimo village Kukuluk (coo coo' look) and traditional hunting camp sites (dating up to 6,000 years old) on St. Lawrence Island in the Bering Sea.  Steller's Sea Cow were “discovered” by Georg Steller in 1741 in the Bering Sea and were extinct by the 1770's.
