Stellers Sea Cow Rib Bone pre 1772  from the extinct mammal, this is the densest marine mammal rib bone and is favored by knife makers, pen makers carvers and hook makers.   Very dense and colorful this piece is exceptional for display or grips, earrings, jewelry,  small, medium knife handles and will polish to look like it is lacquered, 8 9/16" length x  2" wide x 1 3/8" - 1 1/2" thick.  A great solid piece.

 Can be filled with CA glue or thin epoxy or stabilized to increase the density.
