Gorgeous 1911 Mammoth Ivory Compact/Officers Grips, rare chocolate brown color from the particular soil and conditions, this ivory has spectacular flashy grain that changes with the light (chatoyancy like a tigers eye stone or quarter sawn oak). Highly unusual for this much flash and chocolate color (rare in itself).  Available with Standard or Bobtail cut.

Non-structural cracks and fissures are common in mammoth ivory bark and part of their natural beauty and uniqueness. All of our ivory grips have been stabilized and are guaranteed against breakage for life!

Compact, Officers and Defender model grips are shorter, approximately 2-11/16” between screws and will fit most frames made by Colt other manufacturers.
