1911 Mammoth Ivory Bark Grips (32B)
Rarest Blue Green Mammoth Ivory 1911 Grips these are full size. We had been holding on to this chunk of tusk for decades because the natural blue color (not dyed) was so spectacular, now we have put it to the saw and were able to get just several pairs from the outside bark where the color is. The grip on the right has a major glare from the lights extending down from the top to well below the screw and an even brighter glare at the top above the screw that shows how highly polished these grips are. The screws are Swirl pattern and not included, we have a variety to choose from. Available with Magwell, Standard or Bobtail cut.
Made from genuine woolly mammoth and mastodon ivory from Siberia (legal to ship world wide with the exceptions of New York and New Jersey). This ivory is at least 10,000 years old and we use only the best quality to insure that they are as tough as modern elephant ivory but, with the magic that only extinct prehistoric furry elephant ivory has.
Non-structural cracks and fissures are common in mammoth ivory bark and part of its natural beauty and uniqueness. All of our ivory grips have been stabilized and are guaranteed against breakage for life!
