Scrimshaw engraved excavated ivory has eskimo style pictograph figures of caribou hunters and netting fish. This walrus ivory piece is a shard from what look like a scraping tool. 2 1/2” long with lovely color.

This pictograph artwork has been hand engraved in the old style on a genuine 500-3000 year old walrus ivory Eskimo Artifact piece excavated on St Lawrence Island. It was unearthed by a descendant of the primitive Eskimos that made it.
