Hippo Peg Tusk 13
They are excellent for knife or cane handles, carving or scrimshaw. They have short hollows, no enamel or a very narrow strip at top and are not prone to cracking.
Peg 13 (gnarly) is about 7/8" at base diameter, 5-1/2" long with an approximate hollow depth of 50%.
"Curved pegs" are generally round on the cross cut. "Straight pegs" are are round to rectangular on the cross cut. We can polish a window in these for scrimshaw and if they have the odd tip they can be reshaped to a rounded point.
