Description
Pristine Mammoth Ivory Ruger Blackhawk, Vaquero or Old Army Grips, these are very light ivory color with fine grain/figure, they look like African elephant ivory but are not, the unique Schraeger line pattern on the bottom is the way to tell. The light areas at the top of the panels in the photos are from the lights and show the high polish that is possible with ivory. Very rare to have this quality of mammoth ivory thick enough for revolver grips, you can send your grip frame if you want them custom fitted tho the fit should be good as is, call or email with any questions. These will not fit a New Vaquero.
Made from genuine mammoth or mastodon ivory from Alaska or the Yukon. This ivory is at least 10,000 years old, and we use only the best quality to insure that they are as tough as modern elephant ivory but with the beauty that only extinct prehistoric mammoth ivory has.
To comply with state laws we no longer ship any ivory to New Jersey addresses and no mammoth ivory (only walrus ivory) to New York addresses.
If you buy these but wish to ship your grip frame for a possible better fit just call 1-800-423-1945 we will hold them till your frame arrives.
