Bone & Wood Pistol Grips

MAGWELL, STANDARD OR BOBTAIL
All Magwell grips can be turned into Standard or Bobtail grips and Standard grips can be turned into Bobtails (at no additional cost).

FIT: Full size will fit most of the 1911 frames including; Colt, Springfield, Kimber, Smith and Wesson, Les Baer, Wilson, Ruger, Sig Sauer, Remington, Rock Island, Iver Johnson, Ithaca, Wilson, Dan Wesson, Essex Arms, Ruger and others. Compact and Officers model grips are shorter and fit a compact frame they will not fit a full size frame. No fitting required with the right butt-cut, just take off your old grips and put ours on! If you have an ambidextrous safety; this will require inletting on the back of the right panel, just check the ambi-box yes.

BONE: 1911 Grips made from the shinbones of big old bulls. We make these ivory colored bone grips here in house and each is a unique, beautiful and one-of-a-kind pair. They will age very nicely, if you make a habit of rubbing your skin oil on them.

STELLER'S SEA COW or WALRUS OOSIK & JAWBONE: Made from Extinct Steller Sea Cow, Walrus jaw bone and Oosik (walrus penile bone!) that were excavated from the ancient Yupik Eskimo village Kukuluk (coo coo' look) and traditional hunting camp sites (dating up to 6,000 years old) on St. Lawrence island in the Bering Sea. Steller's Sea Cows were “discovered” by Georg Steller in 1741 in the Bering Sea and were extinct by the 1770's.
