Description

This is a richly colored caramel and cream pair of mammoth ivory with really good figure/grain as can be seen in this photo, the cream is the thin layer of cementum remaining on the caramel colored dentine. Very little mammoth ivory has this level of beauty and color. The light splashes at the top of each panel is glare from the lights, shows the glassy polish achievable with ivory.  Screws shown are Swirls, (not included), one of our most popular, can be ordered below.  Available in magwell as shown or standard butt.

Made from genuine woolly mammoth/mastodon ivory from Alaska, the Yukon or Siberia. This ivory is at least 10,000 years old and we use only the best quality to insure that they are as tough as modern elephant ivory but, with the appeal that only extinct prehistoric elephant ivory has.
