Polished Mammoth Tusk Section recovered in the Yukon, this piece is 7 1/2" tall, the bottom width is 2 3/4"- 3 1/2"  It has several layers  1/4”- 1/2" thick that are commonly found in mammoth ivory.  Polished on all sides. If the section is cut into shorter lengths it will come apart into “plates”or layers that can then be shaped into jewelry or pocket knife handles etc. or kept as a display piece., good for carving hook, figurines too.  A solid unique display piece.
