Beautiful one of a kind 1911 Mammoth Ivory Bark Grips available with Magwell as shown or converted to a standard beveled butt.  Mammoth Bark comes from the outside of the tusk and has color, sometimes nice cracks and character but no grain or figure like the interior ivory, like the bark of a tree that is different from the wood underneath.  As different looking as these 2 panes are the did come from the same tusk on opposite sides of the section.  The fancy screws shown are Swirls, are very nice and can be ordered for $20 per set.

Made from genuine woolly mammoth/mastodon ivory from Alaska, the Yukon.  This ivory is at least 10,000 years old and we use only the best quality to insure that they are as tough as modern elephant ivory.
