Gorgeous 1911 Mammoth Ivory COMPACT Bark Grips available with your choice of Standard or Bobtail cut.  We regularly hear from customers that our grips are more beautiful than the photographs reveal. These are cut from the outside layer (bark) of a tusk and have nice color and fine character lines and look similar to elephant bark grips.

Compact, Officers and Defender model grips are shorter, approximately 2-11/16” between screws and will fit most compact sized frames such as Colt, Springfield, Taurus, Smith and Wesson, Les Baer, Ruger, Wilson, Kimber and Others.  These will not fit full size 1911 frames.

Made from genuine woolly mammoth or mastodon ivory that we have collected from Alaska and the Yukon.  This ivory is thousands of years old and we use only the best quality to insure that our grips are as durable as modern elephant ivory but with the uniqueness that only extinct prehistoric ivory has.  Screws shown are Swirl pattern and can be ordered for $20 a set with wrench.  These will not fit the full size Commander 1911 frame, they are shorter.

Non-structural cracks, watermarks and varying coloration are typical of mammoth ivory and part of its natural beauty.  Our ivory grips have been stabilized and are guaranteed against breakage for life!
