Fossil Walrus Gemtone Earrings Pair 17
This beautiful jewelry was handmade using prehistoric ivory excavated in Alaska by the descendants of the primitive Eskimos that worked it. Minerals absorbed from the surrounding soil have given the buried ivory beautiful natural tones of cream, brown, blue, red, green and black. A color enhancing process is used to achieve some of the rarer and more spectacular colorations. Because this exquisite walrus ivory is thousand of years old, no animals were killed to collect it. All findings are made of Sterling Silver or Gold filled heavy gauge wire as shown.
