Narwhal tusk piece, polished on all sides to a high shine the only piece like it we will ever have.  Section shows the beautiful twist pattern so identifiable to narwhal ivory. A beautiful stand alone piece or can be cut into pendants or earrings. It is from the J. L. Houston collection a piece we acquired from the Houston collection brought into Seattle in the 1950’s from the Inuit village of Pond Inlet, Nunavut Canada.

This is 1.3/4" tall x 1 1/2"  width 7/16 thickness at its center. This Narwhal tusk section shows the exquisite twist and the beautiful character rings of the cross cut ( frosting I call it) of this piece.  A buff polish on all sides and ends.
