Description
Excavated on St Lawrence Island in 1984 this fabulous artifact is 3 3/4” wide x 7 1/2” long and weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces! Made from now famous Kobuk Valley jade (mainland Alaska) it was brought over from the mainland by skin boat many centuries ago. This artifact has amazing color and to the best of our knowledge is the largest finest example of a jade adze in existence.
